Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: brought to you by Charity mobile the phone company that shares your values more information is available at charitymobile.com the German Bishops conference are in the news yet again this time because a good priest who does a lot of good traditional catholic work that same group that Pastor Jimmy Martin of the Jesuit church is so focused on he decided to speak out in defense of the moral truths of the faith and in opposition to the work that the German Bishops are doing and he did so in a very public manner in the form of an open letter that you must read or at least hear so that I I have that for you here today the priest reminds these Bishops that they swore an oath upon their ordination and consecration to uphold the deposit of the faith and that they the work they’re doing is nothing short of breaking that oath which comes of course with serious moral consequences which I will also go into greater detail with after the letter as well as some other details from other Bishops who have called out these same Bishops so let’s examine the story the gravity of the situation because Oaths in the church are serious business the priest is one father Philip bochansky executive director of Courage International which is a group that does the actually Catholic version of the work that Pastor Jimmy Martin of the Jesuit church is so known for father bochanski has dedicated his priesthood to Leading people out of a life of sin that cries out to heaven for justice and instead leads them to fulfilling cross-caring lives in our blessed Lord and in his church father pachanski isn’t nearly as well known as the master of Flesh heresy like Pastor Jimmy Martin of the Jesuit church because the world does not celebrate father bochansky or his Works rather it opposes them that’s to be expected as our Lord warned us of numerous times in sacred scripture father bachanski issued a public letter to the Bishops of Germany that are leading the erroneous Synod on the flesh heresy and I have his letter here in full for you it’s short and is a must read so now the letter of father bochanski to Cardinals hollerick and Marx your eminences as a priest engaged for many years in pastoral Ministry to people who experience James Martin activities I read your recent public comments about Catholic teaching on James Martin activities with serious concern you suggested Cardinal holerick that the sociological scientific foundation of the Catholic doctrine that James Martin activities are immoral is no longer correct and you called for a fundamental revision of church teaching and a change in Doctrine you took the same stance on this issue Cardinal Marx and Justified your position by remarking that the catechism is not set in stone and that one may also question what it says on this important oral teaching yet the paragraph of the catechism to which you refer presents this teaching in a remarkably firm way that is it notes that the teaching is clearly based on sacred scripture and consistently taught by the tradition of the church see paragraph two three five seven of the current catechism of the Catholic Church this invocation of scripture and tradition is unusual in the catechism but appears often when the church explains the charism of infallibility its use here clearly means that this teaching which flows from the anthropological fact of the nature of human beings is an infallible teaching of the ordinary Universal magisterium when each of us was prepared for ordination like all of our brother deacons priests and Bishops we made a public profession of faith and swore an oath of fidelity when we took that oath we swore in regard to such teachings that we would hold fast to the church’s Doctrine Faithfully handed on and explain it and avoid any teachings contrary to it we invoked the Holy Trinity and the holy gospels to witness to our honesty and sincerity your eminence as I beg you please be faithful to your oath to violate your oath over this teaching would do great harm to the very people you sincerely want to help quote neglect of the church’s teaching prevents and quote these brothers and sisters of ours quote from receiving the help that they need and deserve end quote as the dicasterate for the doctrine of the faith wrote in 1986 to claim that this definitive teaching can change raises false hopes among our brothers and sisters and is sure to leave them feeling more overlooked and resentful each time the church Faithfully restates it by reinforcing this misunderstanding of the Divine ordering of the marital nature you encourage them to seek happiness in relationships that ultimately cannot satisfy rather than to seek fulfillment in chaste friendships to violate your oath would also wound our brothers and sisters who strive to live chastely in harmony with the church’s teaching or to encourage their loved ones to do so at the cost of great personal sacrifice they look to the Bishops of the church as their spiritual fathers and seek from you affirmation and support for the commitments to Chastity that they have made as faithful Catholics when they hear you suggest that such commitments are unnecessary they feel unseen and disrespected by the very people whose love and care they seek the most to violate your oath would certainly harm the moral credibility of the church in the eyes of the faithful and in the opinion of the world on the eve of his passion our Lord’s sincere prayer was for Unity among his peoples so that the world may believe you stand in the place of those Apostles and have undertaken the awesome responsibility of closely advising the successor of Saint Peter your public dissent from the church’s teaching can only create confusion and division among the faithful and be a scandal to the secular world to violate your oath would I fear also create great harm for you as a brother priest and collaborator in the sacred Ministry may I be so boldest to remind you with great respect and fraternal concern of the solemn significance of the oath we have taken to break an oath is to commit the sin of perjury and to deliberately persist in such a grave sin puts one’s Eternal salvation in jeopardy it has been my privilege for almost half of my life to serve Christ’s Church as a priest and an immense joy for more than half of my priesthood to serve Catholics who experience James Martin interests and their loved ones it’s a great consolation to carry out this ministry with the support and encouragement of the universal church and its eminent pastors your eminence says I beg you please be faithful to your oath with sincere respect father Philip G pochanski executive director courage International what we are talking about here is something deadly serious The Taking of Oaths there’s a lot of confusion on this point because it appears at Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount forbids oath taking while elsewhere in the New Testament you see Oaths being taken by the apostles I turned to a good well-sourced article from Catholic straight answers on this because the church’s teaching is pretty clear do not take frivolous Oaths and treat the Oaths you do take with the gravity they weren’t to help clear the question up and to make obvious why these men put themselves in Peril by not taking their Oaths to god seriously I have this from the article from Catholics trade answers quote our church requires the taking of Oaths before a bishop is ordained or takes formal possession of his diocese he must make a profession of faith and take an oath of fidelity to the apostolic sea I.E the Holy Father see the code of canon law number 381 candidates for the priesthood do the same teachers of Theology and Catholic colleges and universities since they share in the mission of the magisterium ought to take an oath of fidelity to it each year consequently the catechism States the traditional interpretation of The Sermon on the Mount that Jesus did not exclude Oaths made for grave and right reasons see paragraph number 2153 but rather condemned false and frivolous Oaths hear the catechism again underscores the point that since taking an oath or swearing is to take God as witness to what one affirms see paragraph 2150 a false oath asks God to witness a lie which is an act of blasphemy God’s presence and his truthfulness must always be respected otherwise we mock him therefore an oath must not only be taken in truth Injustice and in judgment see the code of canon law number 1199 in truth means the person is not lying and has moral certitude to the facts of certain a person cannot take an oath who is doubtful about the matter at hand Injustice means that nothing unlawful must be asserted or promised in the oath such as swearing to commit murder finally right judgment attests that there is sufficient cause for invoking God to witness the oath that this is done with reverence end quote we take Oaths ourselves whenever we firmly resolve in the confessional to avoid the sins that send us to the confessional that is a form of an oath and almost all of us break that oath from every time we make it and then we must run back to the confessional and honestly promise to not do those things again and we mostly fail and when we fail the consequences for our Eternal Destiny are severe unless we make amends God is merciful but it is also the just judge and what this priest is doing here is calling these men to repentance to honor their Oaths because unlike you and I who are merely tormented by Temptations to sins of the Flesh and have hardened hearts and the rest of what befalls poor sinful laymen and lay women like you and I these men have The Graces of their Consecration and coordination and the full knowledge of the church opposes what they want to enact they’ve promised it to not enact them and if they persist in this this isn’t merely being tempted in a moment of weakness and falling what they are doing is calculated in planned they admit to it and admit that the church has historically opposed their goals and their analyze the problem father bachanski is trying desperately to help them save their souls and I pray that they listen because the consequences for them could be disastrous if they swore a false oath at the time of their ordination or at the time of their consecration the consequences for their Eternal Destiny could be well biblical than the more common use of that term thus we get a basic understanding of why heresy is such a brave sin especially when it originates from within the ranks of the priests and Bishops of the church which it historically typically has this brings to mind something Cardinal Pell spoke about around a month ago or so Catholic journalist Edward Patton summarized what Cardinal Pella to say where the Cardinal called for Rome to intervene and correct and admonish these Bishops for attempting to lead souls to Perdition and destroying the unity of the church through rejection of the infallible oral teachings of the church here the consequences are described rather aptly quote the Catholic church is not a loose Federation or different National synods or Gatherings and prominent leaders are able to reject essential elements of the Apostolic tradition and remain undisturbed this must not become a normal and tolerated situation Catholic Unity around Christ and his teachings requires Unity on the major elements in the hierarchy of Truth this rejection is a rupture not compatible with the ancient teaching of scripture in the magisterium nor compatible with any legitimate doctrinal developments Cardinal respectfully concluded by repeating his request for Roman intervention not one of the Ten Commandments is optional all are there to be followed and by Sinners we cannot have a special Australian or German version of The Ten Commandments nor can we follow Bertrand Russell the English atheist philosopher who suggested the Ten Commandments might be like an exam where only 6 out of ten questions need to be answered Christ welcomed and mixed with Sinners but he called us to repentance so a Mass for special groups can be a good thing provided Christ’s teaching is presented regularly the need for repentance is preached and the sacrament of penance reconciliation regularly available end quote but will Rome Act that’s unlikely and if it does it will be at the end of the Sonata process in late 2023 when Francis issues his document that is allegedly inspired by the Synod working documents and his in this his document will itself appear to be more moderate than what the Synod or specific National sentence asks for but will in reality be itself radical that has been his track record this scene with amorse Letitia cara de Amazonia and fratellitudi and there’s no reason to expect otherwise what do you think of what the priest had to say or what about Cardinal Pell said in his statement from mid-march let me know what you think in the comments please it’s clear to me that many of the more prominent priests and Bishops are coming out in full force to verbalize their opposition to what the German Bishops are doing their Innovation and flesh heresy but will they be heated that remains to be seen but let me know what you think about all this in the comments please and like And subscribe if you haven’t it really does help and as always pray for the church I’m Anthony Stein Ave Maria .

.6 here today the priest reminds these

.44 they the work they’re doing is nothing
.36 short of breaking that oath which comes
.78 of course with serious moral

.159 Bishops
.96 so let’s examine the story the gravity
.18 of the situation because Oaths in the

.46 life of sin that cries out to heaven for
.5 justice and instead leads them to
.659 fulfilling cross-caring lives in our
.119 blessed Lord and in his church
.399 father pachanski isn’t nearly as well
.68 known as the master of Flesh heresy like
.259 Pastor Jimmy Martin of the Jesuit church
.299 because the world does not celebrate
.64 father bochansky or his Works rather it
.159 opposes them that’s to be expected as
.92 our Lord warned us of numerous times in
.14 sacred scripture father bachanski issued
.899 a public letter to the Bishops of
.52 Germany that are leading the erroneous
.68 Synod on the flesh heresy and I have his
.2 letter here in full for you it’s short
.84 and is a must read
.459 so now the letter of father bochanski to
.04 Cardinals hollerick and Marx
.02 your eminences as a priest engaged for
.02 many years in pastoral Ministry to
.18 people who experience
.98 James Martin activities I read your
.22 recent public comments about Catholic
.08 teaching on James Martin activities with
.72 serious concern
.4 you suggested Cardinal holerick that the
.879 sociological scientific foundation of
.519 the Catholic doctrine that James Martin
.28 activities are immoral is no longer
.92 correct and you called for a fundamental
.56 revision of church teaching and a change
.26 in Doctrine
.76 you took the same stance on this issue
.04 Cardinal Marx and Justified your
.9 position by remarking that the catechism
.3 is not set in stone and that one may
.84 also question what it says on this
.76 important oral teaching
.56 yet the paragraph of the catechism to
.78 which you refer presents this teaching
.64 in a remarkably firm way
.68 that is it notes that the teaching is
.659 clearly based on sacred scripture and
.7 consistently taught by the tradition of
.5 the church see paragraph two three five
.08 seven of the current catechism of the

.56 this invocation of scripture and

.5 its use here clearly means that this

.0 eminence as I beg you please be faithful
.98 to your oath to violate your oath over

.94 quote neglect of the church’s teaching
.74 prevents and quote these brothers and
.66 sisters of ours quote from receiving the

.74 quote as the dicasterate for the
.84 doctrine of the faith wrote in 1986
.72 to claim that this definitive teaching
.94 can change raises false hopes among our
.28 brothers and sisters and is sure to
.199 leave them feeling more overlooked and

.139 Faithfully restates it by reinforcing
.9 this misunderstanding of the Divine

.34 relationships that ultimately cannot
.9 satisfy rather than to seek fulfillment
.759 in chaste friendships to violate your

.479 harmony with the church’s teaching or to
.699 encourage their loved ones to do so at
.919 the cost of great personal sacrifice
.72 they look to the Bishops of the church

.4 to violate your oath would certainly
.56 harm the moral credibility of the church
.24 in the eyes of the faithful and in the

.1 your oath would I fear also create great
.259 harm for you as a brother priest and
.18 collaborator in the sacred Ministry may
.46 I be so boldest to remind you with great
.74 respect and fraternal concern of the
.96 solemn significance of the oath we have
.58 taken to break an oath is to commit the
.8 sin of perjury and to deliberately
.36 persist in such a grave sin puts one’s
.0 Eternal salvation in jeopardy it has
.46 been my privilege for almost half of my
.319 life to serve Christ’s Church as a
.12 priest and an immense joy for more than
.74 half of my priesthood to serve Catholics
.84 who experience James Martin interests
.24 and their loved ones it’s a great
.34 consolation to carry out this ministry
.319 with the support and encouragement of
.06 the universal church and its eminent
.8 pastors
.06 your eminence says I beg you please be
.919 faithful to your oath
.78 with sincere respect
.52 father Philip G pochanski executive
.039 director courage International
.68 what we are talking about here is
.18 something deadly serious The Taking of
.039 Oaths there’s a lot of confusion on this
.319 point because it appears at Jesus’s
.419 Sermon on the Mount forbids oath taking
.22 while elsewhere in the New Testament you
.44 see Oaths being taken by the apostles
.139 I turned to a good well-sourced article
.36 from Catholic straight answers on this
.099 because the church’s teaching is pretty
.84 clear do not take frivolous Oaths and
.479 treat the Oaths you do take with the
.34 gravity they weren’t
.96 to help clear the question up and to
.18 make obvious why these men put
.44 themselves in Peril by not taking their
.72 Oaths to god seriously I have this from
.479 the article from Catholics trade answers
.58 quote
.44 our church requires the taking of Oaths
.599 before a bishop is ordained or takes
.28 formal possession of his diocese he must
.319 make a profession of faith and take an
.36 oath of fidelity to the apostolic sea
.46 I.E the Holy Father see the code of
.16 canon law number 381
.74 candidates for the priesthood do the
.66 same teachers of Theology and Catholic
.94 colleges and universities since they
.099 share in the mission of the magisterium
.02 ought to take an oath of fidelity to it
.58 each year
.539 consequently the catechism States the
.639 traditional interpretation of The Sermon
.86 on the Mount that Jesus did not exclude
.72 Oaths made for grave and right reasons
.12 see paragraph number 2153 but rather
.479 condemned false and frivolous Oaths hear
.879 the catechism again underscores the
.74 point that since taking an oath or
.96 swearing is to take God as witness to
.759 what one affirms see paragraph 2150 a
.599 false oath asks God to witness a lie
.36 which is an act of blasphemy God’s
.24 presence and his truthfulness must
.74 always be respected otherwise we mock
.139 him therefore an oath must not only be
.419 taken in truth Injustice and in judgment
.7 see the code of canon law number 1199 in
.14 truth means the person is not lying and
.94 has moral certitude to the facts of
.68 certain a person cannot take an oath who
.839 is doubtful about the matter at hand
.72 Injustice means that nothing unlawful
.92 must be asserted or promised in the oath
.66 such as swearing to commit murder
.22 finally right judgment attests that
.5 there is sufficient cause for invoking
.18 God to witness the oath that this is
.279 done with reverence end quote
.98 we take Oaths ourselves whenever we
.56 firmly resolve in the confessional to
.0 avoid the sins that send us to the
.62 confessional that is a form of an oath
.42 and almost all of us break that oath
.22 from every time we make it and then we
.14 must run back to the confessional and
.64 honestly promise to not do those things
.2 again and we mostly fail and when we
.48 fail the consequences for our Eternal
.22 Destiny are severe unless we make amends
.38 God is merciful but it is also the just
.72 judge and what this priest is doing here
.459 is calling these men to repentance to
.56 honor their Oaths because unlike you and
.3 I who are merely tormented by
.58 Temptations to sins of the Flesh and
.38 have hardened hearts and the rest of
.94 what befalls poor sinful laymen and lay
.339 women like you and I these men have The
.16 Graces of their Consecration and
.959 coordination and the full knowledge of
.76 the church opposes what they want to
.14 enact they’ve promised it to not enact
.48 them and if they persist in this this
.36 isn’t merely being tempted in a moment
.04 of weakness and falling what they are
.019 doing is calculated in planned they
.24 admit to it and admit that the church
.68 has historically opposed their goals and
.08 their analyze the problem father
.7 bachanski is trying desperately to help
.56 them save their souls and I pray that
.42 they listen because the consequences for
.579 them could be disastrous if they swore a
.1 false oath at the time of their
.48 ordination or at the time of their
.22 consecration the consequences for their
.5 Eternal Destiny could be well biblical
.48 than the more common use of that term
.579 thus we get a basic understanding of why
.98 heresy is such a brave sin especially
.079 when it originates from within the ranks
.82 of the priests and Bishops of the church
.32 which it historically typically has
.38 this brings to mind something Cardinal
.88 Pell spoke about around a month ago or
.16 so Catholic journalist Edward Patton
.32 summarized what Cardinal Pella to say
.94 where the Cardinal called for Rome to
.74 intervene and correct and admonish these
.72 Bishops for attempting to lead souls to
.88 Perdition and destroying the unity of
.62 the church through rejection of the
.36 infallible oral teachings of the church
.06 here the consequences are described
.92 rather aptly quote the Catholic church
.5 is not a loose Federation or different
.66 National synods or Gatherings and
.7 prominent leaders are able to reject
.14 essential elements of the Apostolic
.24 tradition and remain undisturbed this
.399 must not become a normal and tolerated
.56 situation Catholic Unity around Christ
.079 and his teachings requires Unity on the
.24 major elements in the hierarchy of Truth
.459 this rejection is a rupture not
.14 compatible with the ancient teaching of
.7 scripture in the magisterium nor
.26 compatible with any legitimate doctrinal
.839 developments Cardinal respectfully
.06 concluded by repeating his request for
.04 Roman intervention not one of the Ten
.38 Commandments is optional all are there
.6 to be followed and by Sinners we cannot
.0 have a special Australian or German
.56 version of The Ten Commandments nor can
.019 we follow Bertrand Russell the English
.7 atheist philosopher who suggested the
.04 Ten Commandments might be like an exam
.26 where only 6 out of ten questions need
.42 to be answered Christ welcomed and mixed
.06 with Sinners but he called us to
.68 repentance so a Mass for special groups
.019 can be a good thing provided Christ’s
.0 teaching is presented regularly the need
.04 for repentance is preached and the
.72 sacrament of penance reconciliation
.36 regularly available end quote
.88 but will Rome Act
.56 that’s unlikely and if it does it will
.48 be at the end of the Sonata process in
.16 late 2023 when Francis issues his
.38 document that is allegedly inspired by
.779 the Synod working documents and his in
.06 this his document will itself appear to
.04 be more moderate than what the Synod or
.2 specific National sentence asks for but
.36 will in reality be itself radical that
.66 has been his track record this scene
.519 with amorse Letitia cara de Amazonia and
.8 fratellitudi and there’s no reason to
.6 expect otherwise what do you think of
.0 what the priest had to say or what about
.16 Cardinal Pell said in his statement from
.44 mid-march let me know what you think in
.959 the comments please it’s clear to me
.48 that many of the more prominent priests
.82 and Bishops are coming out in full force
.98 to verbalize their opposition to what
.68 the German Bishops are doing their
.26 Innovation and flesh heresy but will
.5 they be heated that remains to be seen
.019 but let me know what you think about all
.88 this in the comments please and like And
.04 subscribe if you haven’t it really does
.839 help
.74 and as always pray for the church
